Reflecting a seamless organic shape and timeless form, the Lippa side table has become a symbol of modernism for over the past 60 years. Before its release, homes were filled with clunky remnants of an industrial age long gone by. But in order to advance into the new world, homes first had to transition from the traditional square table, into a piece that connoted progress. The base and dimensions are true to the original specifications, while the table’s circular white top and metal tapered base are carefully lacquered with a chip-resistant finish.

Beautiful
I looked at a lot of these types of tables and this one was perfect for my needs. The finish is shiny and seems durable. It is sturdy heavy, but not so heavy that it can't be pulled out in my small eating area to accomodate more guests. Assembly took 5 minutes!

Definitely one of the highest quality items of furniture I have ordered through target. I recommend using placemats to keep from possible scratching of the top of the table.

Very happy
We have only had the table for a few days so I can't comment on wear, but we love the table. We did a lot of research and looked at tulip tables costing three times as much as this. We are really happy with it, the measurements are the same as the original table. The base is heavy and the table will not tip over (maybe if you sat on the edge or something, it might). The top is glossy.
