Nice table - just one important issue.

The item arrived on time and was packaged well. The table went together perfectly. Easy instructions, all parts fit together well. When I finished it and put it in place - my heart sank. When the leaves are folded down, you cannot put the dropped leaf against a wall. The foot of the pedestal sticks out farther than the table top. The table sits with a gap from the wall of at least a couple of inches (I didn't measure it). To me, it defeats the purpose of a drop leaf table when the feet are bigger than the table top. Unfortunately you can't rotate the pedestal, it only attaches one way. Nice table, less than perfect design. I will be removing the feet and rigging a different base under the post that fits under the table top. If you don't have the tools to make your own base and you want this against a wall, this one isn't for you.
