Excellent milk frother! I’ve had mine for years and it still works great. I love that you can do hot or cold. I just wish Nespresso offered this in different colors as well. I would love a white or off white color to match my white Nespresso Up machine.

FOMO? No, FOAM!
This is the fourth Aeroccino I've owned--first one (original) till the lining flaked off; second one was a 3 that did the same thing; then a 4 that worked great in a rental I was in after I had a house fire, but I mislaid the base during the move back home; and now this one I bought when my regular espresso machine was in the shop. (Need my cappuccino---don't judge). I've tried both whole milk--regular & ultra-filtered--as well as "barista" oat. Have only made hot froth--haven't tried just heating milk or making cold foam. Perfect hot froth. With oat milk, it rinses out clean; but deducting a star because dairy milk tends to congeal on the very bottom and I need to dislodge it with a rubber spatula to rinse it off. (Use only a rubber or silicone spatula or a paper towel--a metal spoon, hard utensil or scrub brush will scratch the lining, which is delicate).

They Are Great Until They're Not.
I am about to order my fourth one of these. It's the only one on the market that does what it does with such ease. But they break. You get a year or two and then no matter what it stops foaming and just heats up the milk. I will keep with it. But I wish they lasted longer.

Caution!!
Aeroccino3: We have had this unit for a couple of years. The wife uses it a couple of times a week, I would guess. Clean-up is my job, usually, and it's always done by hand. After drying, it goes back into the coffee prep area. When the wife removed the lid to pour in her milk, a “terrible smell” assaulted her. Inside was a pool of yellowish, highly fragrant, slippery fluid. I'm guessing it is a lubricant that may have overheated. Regardless, why did it leak when it was not in use? Or did it sometimes leak while in use? Yuk! This is a dangerous situation. A seal leaked about 2 tsp of this inedible (at best) liquid into the food area, WHEN IT WAS IDLE!! How much has been consumed?? Too much!! I have no recommendation for protecting yourself, except to smell the area before pouring in any liquids. There are no obvious blown gaskets even now. Be careful if you own one. Consider a different unit, if you are only shopping for a frother.

Easy, quick, convenient!
I love this. Worth the price. Didn’t give it 5 stars bc the lid/ gasket doesn’t shut tight enough to avoid overflow. I follow the line guidelines inside and it still overflows all the time so I have to stay and watch. I wish they had an airtight lid & seal and once it got to the point it will overflow it would auto-shut off. My sister in laws does the same thing. But still I love, and use it daily. Plus im adding my Ryze mushroom to it.

Good when it works
I got this frother at Christmas with my Nespresso machine and I loved it for 2 months. Then it just stopped frothing one morning. It still makes my milk warm but no froth. It is disappointing. If you get one that works you will love it.

We're happy to share information that may help you enjoy your frothed milk, hot or cold. Be sure the whisk is clean of any milk residue, as well as the inside of your milk canister. You might try a different milk, as a higher protein content will yield the best froth, so shake your carton vigorously before pouring. The colder and fresher, the better. It may be a simple whisk replacement needed, so feel free to call 800.562.1465 to troubleshoot and we'll be happy to help you.

I would never order this again.
Got the pop+ with this with it for Christmas last year and the machine didn't last a year but was great! This frother though is not good at all. Dangerous even. It burns the milk 8 times out of 10 uses but after a couple months with daily use it became dangerous. It smelt like an electrical fire and the milk was actually gray and the bottom layer was black!!! It had never done that before! I smelt electrical before the milk had stopped frothing and I immediately unplugged. I tried to get that black off and it's truly BURNT to it and won't come off. After every use I scrub the bottom w cool water and a scrubby due to a bit of milk residue after every use. I never used it again... Hot milk is not worth burning down the house so be careful.

Lasted 58 days at 2 coffees per day
Received as part of a Christmas gift with the Deluxe unit. Set the Machine up on January 3. Made two coffees per day until today, March 2. It lasted 58 days before it died. I cleaned it after every use. Today the machine only spins for a moment and blinks red. Ok while it lasted, but that lifespan is terrible.

Frother Burns Milk
Bought the original pod machine that came with the frother attachment. Frother lasted 6 months before starting to burn milk. Now after a year it’s completely unusable. Super disappointing.

The burn mark will not impede the functionality of the device, however, it's best to avoid build up by using a small plastic scraper, or wooden craft stick to lightly scrape away the burnt residue. The burn marks found inside your milk jug can usually be avoided by following these easy cleaning tips: - After using soap and cold water, be sure to wipe the inside of the jug with a damp, non-abrasive sponge, or paper towel to remove milk residue. Remaining milk residue can cause burn marks during subsequent uses. - If you plan to use the Aeroccino again immediately after making froth, it is highly recommended that you rinse the inside of the jug with cold, running water, until it is cool to the touch. - Keep both whisks clean to ensure proper rotation and circulation of heat. If you need additional assistance, please call 800.562.1465 and a Machine Expert will be happy to help.

Work for a while…
Got this last year and worked perfectly until last week. Now it will not foam mild at all. Does heat the milk but won’t froth..

Long lasting
Have had ours for 5 years, starting to have the heating element going out.
