These two easy-to-assemble sturdy wooden chairs have an 11-inch seat height that's comfy for kids--plus durable pieces and a reinforced, tip-resistant design that parents can feel confident about, too. Designed to coordinate with the Wooden Table Chairs Set to make room for a foursome, they can also be used on their own to create a child-friendly seating nook for two! Available in natural, white, or espresso. Assemble with a Phillips head screwdriver, not included.

Problem during assembly

These were relatively easy to assemble but one of the chairs had a fixed part slightly out of alignment - one of the under seat rails. I had to recruit my husband and his workshop to help. He got the chair together but the seat cracked because of the misalignment. Since I got these at half price we decided to just fill the crack with wood putty and use as is. I would have given the chair higher ratings had it not been for that issue. For the record, this is the only time I experienced any problems with a Melissa & Doug product.

Well made: handsome and functional.

Love these chairs! They are sturdy and steady - perfect for toddler seating. We dressed them up by adding wooden buttons, stained to match, to cover the screw holes.
