Q: Can the seat come off to reupholster in the future?

A: The seat on the Marino Counter Height Barstool is screwed and glued to the frame. It can be removed with the right tools to be reupholstered. This will void the warranty.

Beautiful chair, but defective
I bought one of these chairs and loved it so I ordered a second one. The second one did not go together as easy and there is one screw that would not go in at all. There was no threading just a hole with metal in it. So not happy about that for the price of the chair. Worried about the stability of it. Did not return because it would be a headache as there is a lot of packaging and the box was already mangled by fed ex.

Best sitting Stool around.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Linon Counter Stool and can not believe how comfortable it is, the cushion is about 3 to 4 inches thick and it is very sturdy. Holding up to 225 lbs and has a chair rung on all 4 sides. I like holding my feet up so these come in handy. Very easy to put together all the pieces are marked on the directions and took about 10 minutes to put together. Color is Antique Blue with a cream color seat, giving this chair a modern look with a country feel. Love how it has a full back, easier to sit in.I would recommend for anyone looking for stools with a color motif great for decorating any room or table.

Beautiful color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The company did a lot of research on how to design an easy to assemble product. The hardware is in a bright red bag attached to a long flag telling you the location of the hardware. Each bag of screws were clearly labeled with the letter and number you were supposed to have. This made assembly so much easier because you didn't spend time hunting for pieces. The step by step instructions were clear and easy to follow and while two people are suggested, I easily assembled the chair together by myself. The pieces fit together perfectly which doesn't always happen. An Alan wrench is included and a screwdriver is needed, it took me about 45 minutes (with distractions) to put it together.

The color has a slight green tint to it - more of a beigy-green than a whitewash. Another reviewer mentioned the finished feels kind of weird - kind of plasticky and I would have to agree. I'll probably repaint them at some point but they look okay. Word to the wise - when assembling (which is pretty quick and painless) there is a left and right front leg. The first one we assembled we got them mixed up so the side rails were higher in the back than the front. I thought it was a really weird design choice and it wasn't until we put together the second one we realized our mistake. We were inserting the side rail into the hole intended for the front rail. Doh!

These stools are awesome. Easy to put together and very sturdy. I will say, the color is a little different than what's shown. It's more accurate to the first two pictures that are posted from other buyers - more of a grayish/cream color. Which, thankfully, went perfect with our decor!
