fabric under mattress is paper not fabric
The fabric that goes under the mattress is that paper stuff that will not wash up well. Disappointed as I know after one wash it will fall apart. I too had bought the Shabby Chic one years ago and it is much better. When I first put it on the mattress one side was 4 inches shorter and we had to pull it and snape the stitching. Hoping that won't cause the ruffle to come loose.

Flimsy material and slides around
It’s attractive, but doesn’t stay in place. The material that goes over your box spring feels flimsy and slides all over the place. I have an old bed shirt from Shabby Chic brand at Target that is much better, but Target doesn’t sell it anymore. I wish they did.
