A: Hello Screen Name - We appreciate your interest in the Plastic Shower Rings Clear. To answer your question, find the split in the ring and face the split towards you. There is a ball joint that comes up and sits inside a socket end. Pull the ball joint out and while you push the socket joint in. They can be tough and may need some exertion to pull apart. Once around the rod. Push the ball joint into the socket joint until you hear a snap. This will take some force. We hope you find this helpful. - Ananya

Price increase is criminal
These work just fine and I’ve not had any problems with them since installing them. They seem to stay put. I bought them when they were $2 several months ago. I would not pay the now increased price to $5!! That is insane, these are a dollar store item. Hopefully Target lowers the price back down.
