My boys wore these once and they are covered with the fabric balls. I figured that since they were brand name they'd be better quality, but I've never had any issue with Cat & Jack or my adult Hanes socks. Will not purchase again.

These are pilled and look awful after on wear and wash. They’ll never hold up against my 10 year old boy at this rate. Also bought in a smaller size for my youngest with the same results. Buy a different brand and save yourself the trouble.

My son is picky about socks and he loves these. They are soft and easy to put on and take off. They do not stiffen after washing them like some socks do. They do shrink a bit, which is why I took off one star. I like that the socks come in a variety of basic colors.
