Easiest brown rice option, so far best taste
This is so helpful for those days when you have zero bandwidth but still need something reliable and filling. I keep 3-5 of these in my cupboard at all times and throw them into casseroles, as a base for curry, or even as a regular side with some herbs on top. Also super travel friendly, I relied on these heavily when I was on a restrictive medical diet and it was nigh impossible to find not only safe foods to eat but also have a way to prepare it. Microwaves are so common that this was a fantastic non-refrigerated option and it didn’t take up a ton of space. Thanks for the great and easy lifesaver!

High arsenic
I did a heavy metals panel after experiencing odd symptoms which found I had an elevated arsenic level. At that point I had eaten Good & Gather whole grain brown rice almost daily for over a year. I found out from Target that the rice is grown in Arkansas, a state known for higher rates of arsenic in the brown rice grown there. For health, I suggest consuming this product sparingly or not at all.

Look before you eat.
Something very, very disgusting in this rice. I have bought this countless times before and never had an issue besides one time when the packaging was not sealed when I got it home. This is different though. I just microwaved this package as I always do and upon opening noticed some brown stuff at the top of the tear, then looking inside… I don’t even know how to describe this. Expiration date is listed as February 2026 and I just bought this a month ago at most. It was the last package I had from the 4 or so I bought in this one trip.
