A: I expected it to be white, but it was clear.

A: For ALL silicones, when you first squeeze the tube it is clear. This is just a protective layer. After you keep squeezing, whatever color is labeled on the container will come out. So for white silicone, expect the first squeeze to be clear and then for it to be white as you keep squeezing.
