A: Wash them on high heat— and dry them. They should become static free.

A: Hi Scent - Thank you so much for asking about this product. You can toss three wool dryer balls into the dryer with your laundry. For natural fragrance, add 2-3 drops of Everspring Essential Oils ball and toss in load. Re-apply 2 - 3 drops of oil with each load. I am sure you will love it. - Thank you so much. - Shilpa

A: I can't give an expert reply but I'm wondering how these would magically know where the feathers should go, and how they'd move them so precisely. I'd advise doing it by hand, which is laborious, but far more likely to work since you are a lot smarter and stronger than these little balls!

Q: Why does one need to use 3 balls? Can't one use only 1 ball or 2 balls?

A: Hello AJ - Great question! Generally three dryer balls will work most effectively with most load sizes. That being said, there is no reason that you can’t choose to use 1 or 2 instead, although, it may take longer for a load to dry in that case. I hope this helps! - Nikitha

This product does not do work like it says. It does not reduce drying time. It does not reduce static cling, it increases it. All it does is make a ton of noise in your dryer and get stuck in your clothes. Please take this off your site utnil it is improved.

These are the most ineffective items I’ve purchased. They did nothing with lint, zero help with static and made noise. I still have to use a dryer sheet or think of something else. Not sure why these were highly rated. Waste of money.

My daughter has eczema so I thought I would try these instead of unscented fabric softener. These dryer balls are awful. They leave white lint all over my black clothes, and I get zapped constantly when pulling clothes out of my dryer. They do nothing to reduce static or lint. My clothes still come out stiff. I would be better off not even using them. Huge waste of money.

My cats love them! Me too over dryer sheets. Only issue is they can get tangled in sweats and you have to go fishing for them, but I assume that’s with all types of dryer balls.

I have been using these Ever Spring wool dryer balls for 3 years and I like them a lot. They are sustainable, making them better for the environment & also they don’t contain chemicals like liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets. They are more economical than the compostable dryer sheets. I buy 2 boxes at a time and they last almost a year. You know they’ve given their best when you start seeing a little static in the dried clothes. I’m buying 2 more boxes on my next trip to Target. I gave these dryer balls 5 stars in every category including “Scent” bc they DON’T have a scent.

I wanted these to work so badly. Better for the environment and would save money in the long term. I live in humid Florida, so they *kinda* worked during the hot and humid months for static. Now that it is cold and the humidity has dropped, they do not work for static at all. Very disappointing.

These wool dryer balls work great, making the clothes less wrinkled and softer. Using these eliminates the need for fabric softeners and dryer sheets, both of which can clog the dryer filter. If you want a fragrance, just put some essential oils on the balls. These are a great value, as well. Much more affordable than from some other vendors. I wouldn’t be without them.

I admit that I was skeptical that the dryer balls could provide a static-free dryer & replace my previous dryer sheets. After reading in Consumer Reports about the chemicals used in dryer sheets are transferred to the inside of the dryer & onto your clothes, I knew that I needed an alternative. Thankfully, the wool dryer balls 100% lived up to the claims and I have completely stopped using dryer sheets. I look forward to many years of laundering my clothes, while drying them without chemicals. I purchased a second set of the New Zealand dryer balls to finally free myself from using dryer sheets. Try it, I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed! A helpful trick, if you prefer to transfer some scent to your laundry, add a drop of the essential oil of your choice to the one or two dryer balls per load ; )
