Q: Where in the package are the extra blades?
A: They are behind the shaver head in the packaging. Each of the extra blades is wrapped in very thin, white paper, which offers little protection for the hands when opening the packaging.

Q: How do I change the blade on the shaver?
A: First, there are 3 primary components to the shaver head (not including the plastic handle): - the main fixture - the razor blade, which sits between the main fixture and the holding plate - the holding plate that secures the razor blade to the main fixture. The holding plate has a sort of tongue (with a hole in it) that goes through the central space of the razor blade and attaches to the main fixture. To release the holding plate (and the razor blade on it): 1. Put the shaver on a flat, hard, sturdy table. Point the head of shaver away from you. The plastic handle should be pointed towards you. You should be looking at the concave side where you can see the words “BLADE” and “CORN PLANE”. With the shaver oriented this way, you’ll be less likely to accidentally put your fingers into the cutting area, and the pieces won’t fly as far upon disassembly. 2. The holding plate has tabs that you should be able to see sticking out from either side of the shaving head. While keeping the plastic handle stabilized on the table surface, carefully and gently pull these tabs toward you/the plastic handle until you see the tongue of the holding plate come off of small tab in the center of the main fixture. The pieces may pop off. 3. You should be able to carefully lift off the old blade from the holding plate. You can then put one of the replacement blades on the holding plate, letting the tongue of the holding plate go completely through the hole in the center of the blade. 4. Notice how the blade sits on the holding plate with one edge extended slightly past the edge of the holding plate. If you want to use the edge marked “CORN PLATE”, make sure the blade is oriented such that the “CORN PLATE” edge is the one extended past the edge of the holding plate. 5. Position the holding plate such that the razor blade is between the holding plate and the main fixture, and such that the blade edge that is extended will be closer to the plastic handle upon assembly. 6. With one your hands, stabilize the holding plate on the table surface by holding only the tabs on the sides of the holding plate. 7. There is a small tab in the center of the head of the main fixture. With your other hand holding the plastic handle of the main fixture, gently push this tab all the way through the hole in the tongue of the holding plate.
