Good basic pool

So there are several pros and cons to this pool. We upgraded from the 10ft round pool with the blow-up edge. This is much more sturdy. If you have never set up a pool, it requires planning and work. You will want to lay a thick layer of sand to have an even surface and so stuff doesn't try to grow through your pool liner and pierce it. **Several reviewers gave poor reviews because there is NOT a pump, but the description states "NO PUMP." (We had one from our last pool that ended up with a hole we couldn't locate). PROS: sturdy, fairly easy setup (if you are mildly experienced), typically can be found on sale for a reasonable price, versatile to use with salt water., lots of accessories available that can be attached to the side polls, easy-to-read instructions. CONS: you need to buy a pump, but you can use a saltwater system, works best if you have 2 people to set it up, the last poll to install takes patience and moving the liner to be able to get it set, the upper hole in the pool that pumps water into the pool is very high which requires you to fully fill the pool and when people get in or move much, water spills over, the lube they use to keep the liner from deteriorating makes the pool VERY SLICK and hasn't gone away after 2 weeks despite scrubbing & salt water.

BEWARE! Purchased a pool from this seller and listing stated it included pump and a few other items but did not include any of it. When I called for a refund they refused to refund and said their was an error with listing, people have been leaving same bad review about this product for 2 years, target needs to cancel this scam seller ASAP!!

We Love Ours!

We have bought 3 over the past 12 years. Not because they were damaged, it's just that we like to replace them every few years. Every one we bought has been great. We have, however, upgraded them a bit. We bought an aftermarket sand filter and pump that works awesome. We also bought a felt pad that goes under the pool since we place it on our driveway.(the most level spot on our property) We have had a few pinholes over the years, but a patch kit from the local hardware store quickly fixed them. It is a small pool but in the very hot summer months, this thing is a God send. We even bought a floating recliner and the bubbling air is a really nice touch. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Intex is one of my favorite brands and this 12 FT x 30 IN metal fram pool is no exception. This is perfect for my autistic 15 year old who can't swim because he can stand and hang onto the wall. My other 2 kids really enjoy it as well. My husband and I sat in up in no time and got it filled up with water. This is perfect for our humid hot days!

Perfect for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pool is two feet deep and very wide but as a single mom of two youngsters it has been a godsend! No more packing up my migraine headache to an overcrowded public beach at so my kids might get cooled off! It’s grab a towel and boom, at the pool. My kids splashing and laughing manes more me sure I got the right pool. I also set it up ALONE, no man in under an hour.

Do not buy. Leaked over my entire yard. Had to call my landlord to explain damages, haven’t had it for a month at all. They wouldn’t replace it for me and I shop here all the time. TERRIBLE

So fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much fun!! We placed it in our backyard and my kids have been spending a lot of time outdoors in the backyard this summer. It's really convenient to have this pool in our backyard and I love that we can dismantle and keep it when it's not in use. Everyone has been having a lot of fun. We'll be having backyard party this 4th of July and the guests are excited to see the pool. This summer will pass by very quickly thanks to this awesome pool. It's very easy to fix and assemble too.

Looks daunting, but isn't

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I expected much more metal framing on this pool. Only the legs were metal, so keep that in mind. The pool looks daunting when you open it all up.. lots of parts and instructions. It came with pump parts, but no pump so also keep that in mind. Putting it together though really was a work of a minute. It was super easy and only took my husband and myself to have it up and ready to fill within 20 minutes. So far it's held up well and we love it! It's a great way to cool off in summer heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Intex 12ft X 30in Metal Frame Pool is super cool. It comes with instructions and all the parts needed. It is easy to set up and takes approximately half an hour. This pool is super durable with strong steel frames which are powder coated for rust resistance and beauty. This walls are very strong and remains firmly in place. This pool is super fun for my kids and family. We are at Texas and this pool is super summer fun for us. It's easy to dismantle as store away when not in use.
