Description

Created with Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer, the KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Stainless Steel Damascus Collection features stainless steel blades made to his exacting standards, maximizing curves, balance and utility.Bob's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade.The knives are hand-finished with a traditional 3-step process by skilled Japanese artisans. Combined with the SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, the ice-hardened CRYODUR blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan. The SG2 super steel core is protected by an exceptionally beautiful 100-layer Chevron Damascus pattern, which is complimented by a stunning black linen Micarta handle and signature Bob Kramer mosaic pin.

    Awesome knife

    the beautiful knife

    The knife is very sharp, and it cuts the vegetables into very thin slices. The pattern on the blade looks especially beautiful, making cooking a more enjoyable experience. This is the first time I've used such a satisfying tool.

    The wife loved it!!

    Bought this as a gift for my wife and she was definitely impressed with the functionality and beauty of this knife. Expensive yes, but to see the joy on my wife’s face was worth the price 😊

    My favorite knife

    I have the 8 inch knife. It's beautiful and very sharp. I can slice through a watermelon as if it was butter and that is no exaggeration. It's my favorite knife but over time I'm getting little chips in the blade. I need to send it off to be sharpened. This knife made preparing food a much more enjoyable experience that any other knife I've ever had.

    Should have bought 1 40 years ago!

    Beautiful knife in your hand and in use. Well balanced and nice weight. Great knife from day one. I bought this and its paring knife sibling and between the two I have almost no desire to use one of my old knives. I’m tempted to buy the full range even though I have been able to cover pretty much everything with just the two. Regular use of honing and strop and the edge lasted close to a year. It probably would have lasted longer, but I thought I’d use the zwilling knife sharpener on it. That was a mistake, but I’m confident with a whetstone and some time I can bring the blade back to like new condition.

    I recently purchased this and the knife is beautiful. It is scary sharp, it effortlessly slices throught meat and produce and holds its edge very nicely. The handle is very comfortable and I am quite a fan of the heel of the blade. Its a real game changer for changer as a home cook, cant wait to do more with it.

    GOOD KNIFE

    I REMEMBERED READING ALL THE REVIEWS ON THE KRAMER DAMASCUS 8 INCH CHEF KNIFE BEFORE I PURCHASED. ONE CUSTOMER SAID THE KNIFE WAS SLIGHTLY BENT AT THE TIP, WELL, WHEN MINE ARRIVED IT WAS ALSO SLIGHTLY BENT AT THE TIP. I HOPE IT'S NOT THE SAME KNIFE THAT'S ENDED UP IN A "ROUND-A-BOUT" ? ANYWAY, I'LL LIVE WITH IT, OTHER WISE, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL KNIFE. I WANTED THE LONGER DAMASCUS CHEF KNIFE BUT THEY WERE OUT AT THE TIME AND I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT. GOOD COMPANY, BUT, NOT SURE ABOUT THEIR QUALITY CONTROL? SINCERELY, JACK CRAMER.

    Great Daily Driver

    I bought this knife to use at work and home. It looks big, but the balance makes this a pleasure. I use this as my main knife. I usually only use, and sometimes a bread knife at work.
