Overall Great Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are great quality. I got Henckels because it was the knife set that I have used my whole life, and these live up to that quality. I wish the knife block had smaller holes so the knives were a big more snug, but overall, great set!

Great starter set!

They fit comfortably in my hands and are razor sharp. I can see myself using these for a very long time. I do think it would be better if the scissors could come apart for easy cleaning.

No problems with this knife set. After use, I simply hand wash and towel dry, then let it air dry for a few minutes before returning to block.

Quality Set

Saving up for my Hex Clad knife set.
I was given this exact set of knives at Christmas in 2023. I tried to write a review then, but was not allowed because I couldn't prove I was a verified buyer as the knives were a gift. These are the worst knives I have ever owned. I gave away a set of Amazon basic knives and a knife block, in anticipation of receiving this set a year and a half ago. I wish I had kept them. These knives are the worst! They rust every time I wash them and it is impossible to keep them sharp. When I use them, it feels like I am trying to cut something with the side of a metal ruler. + To make matters extra crappy. The wooden knife block looks incredibly cheap + the holes look like they were made by a third grader. So disappointed! So disappointed.

These rust!!! Don’t buy them. Save your money!
Honestly I wouldn’t even give this knife set a star if I had a choice. We had a set of Henckels knives for 18 years and loved them! They eventually got pretty broke down but were still not bad. We decided to upgrade to this set. Big mistake. Wish I had my old knives back. This particular set rusted after only a month or 2 of having them. They claim to be dishwasher safe, and our old set was dishwasher safe. But this set is not. They look terrible now. The company only offered to replace them with the same set. That isn’t helping much since it will only happen again. I wanted a refund and they stated I was out of my window for refunds. It’s only been a few months. Our knives are terrible. Would never recommend this set and honestly not so sure about this company. I’ve worked with multiple companies that want there customers to be happy and will work with them to complete that task. That hasn’t been the case here. Think about it before you buy. Knives are not the cheapest and you hope to buy them and they last for years like our old set. 😕
