ZWILLING Pro 18-slot Knife Block

It was damaged upon arrival! This is not the cheapest item so I am upset that for over $100 it was damaged! Use wise I wish it had larger slots for professional knives and or more slots not steak knives slots!

Purchased this specifically for use with Zwilling Pro knives. Knives only fit in one way, and it seems backwards. Knives go in with the handle being pulled out from the top. Seems awkward to every other knife block I have ever owned. I should be able to turn this 90 degrees, but if I do, it is REALLY backwards! If there had been a picture showing how the knives point, I would have chosen a different block.

I have purchased Zwilling Pro knives over the years. This storage block is perfect for them. The angled slots are perfect to hold the curved bolster. There is more than enough room for my collection.

A very modern Pro block that holds 8 knives and 8 steak knives. Knives fit well and look great!

This is a nice quality wood block made especially for Zwilling Pro knives. This is a great way to build your own set. Just a note: depending on the space between your counter and your top cabinets you might have a hard time pulling out a 10 inch chefs knife without pulling the block forward beyond your top cabinets.

Pro series knives are not shaped like other knives, they are forged with a curved bolster that is designed to provide the most comfortable pinch grip for your thumb and forefinger. But because of the angle at the bolster they do not fit straight in a standard block. This block is designed with an angle so that each knife profile, from your shortest paring knife to your longest slicing knife, sits straight and snug in the block. This block has a gorgeous smooth finish plus a spot for a honing steel and shears.
