I like this top coat! Shiny results, and the formula does not get too thick and dry out in the bottle. Safer ingredients than other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Ella + Mila products for several years now - This top coat is by far the best I've ever used! My routine is 1 coat of base/2 coats polish/1 coat of gel like topcoat. I finish it off with the quick dry drops and I'm out the door! I find that if I apply another top coat after a 2-3 days, my manicure will look like new for over a week!

When I put this polish on, it came out stringy like a glue gun and there are bubbles on the two nails that I put it on. I ended up covering it up with the In a Rush topcoat and used that on all the other nails.

Used the gel top coat with this brands nail polish and it gave the manicure and nice and smooth shiny finish. Dries quickly once applied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked well at first but after a few months it became thicker and “stringy”, making my manicure “gloppy” looking. I don’t want to use it now and more than half of the bottle remains. Will try another one of the top coats in the hopes that it won’t do this.

I feel the need to write this review because of my mistake the first time using this. I thought it would dry quickly with the Gotta Jet drops but they actually made the coat bubble and it didn’t dry for more than SIX HOURS. I put a finger in my daughter’s mouth after 4 hours to take something out that she tried to swallow and a huge chunk of the polish just came off against her teeth, then it wrinkled a bit overnight even though I applied it at 2 PM. Anyway, I think it should be made clear in the product description that these two products are not meant to be used together.The second time I used it without the drops and no bubbling at all. I “cured” it with a UV lamp for 2 minutes and it was completely dry after 4 hours (after 2 hours I could still make a dent with my nail). The lamp probably didn’t make a difference but I did it anyway. You can see it’s super shiny. Lasted about 5 days without chips or cracks. The cracks are small and barely noticeable.Of note, I used a non-Ella Mila polish both times, but this was never a problem with In A Rush (which is my go-to top coat for everything). What the Gel is slightly shinier and the shine will last a whole week, so it’s great if you have time to wait for it to dry. But overall I think In A Rush is better, with no cracks and totally dry in 10 min with the drops.

This top coat not only looks like a gel top coat, it makes your polish feel like a top coat. I can see it becoming one of my favorite top coats.

I'm pretty amazed by all the good reviews. Every time I've used this top coat it has created bubbles as it dries. It also takes hours to dry fully! Stays tacky and sticky which makes it easy to ruin a beautiful manicure.

It might make it look like gel, but it will also make it chip faster! (I even did a side by side testing…)

I really wanted to love this, because I love In a Rush, and thought the other reviews must not have applied this correctly. I followed the directions and was very careful with my nails. They started chipping after just 2 days. In a Rush will usually last me a solid 5 days. But this barely 2. It does crack as other reviewers have said, and I moisturize my cuticles daily. Returned.
