Too loose even at suggested weight
We bought two of these for my daughter and we were never able to use them for her during the suggested weights. They were always too loose which allowed her to get her arms out easily and once her arms were out, she’d startle awake. The cotton also stretches with each use which makes the sizing even more problematic. Velcro is also really loud during middle of the night diaper changes.

Good quality and easy to use. The Velcro is strong allowing for a good swaddle and helping minimize the startle reflex. We used these with our first baby and liked how they worked so got more for our second baby.

Dont waste your money
Don’t bother and get yourself the more expensive one either same brand but the bamboo fabric or the K baby. The smell is so strong that you’ll have to wash it twice before put it the baby. The size of the wings? are so long that you will have to wrap your baby almost all around and yet they will still get the arm out 😒 quality is terrible, it started ripping within week of using it. I just feel like i spent more time trying to wrap my baby in it then if I’d use just regular hospital blanket and that’s what made me so mad. I got it because I was so frustrated in the middle of the night trying to wrap her an this was even worse lol now I have the Halo bamboo wrap in the size 3-6month even tho she’s 6 weeks it’s just fit her so good!! And the Velcro is so much better.

Horrible smell
The swaddle was okay in terms of wrapping up baby. Loose and thin but a fine option for transition. However, it had a very strong chemical “new” smell. The smell was so bad it would transfer to anything it touched including baby, even after washing. Washed it multiple times and the smell never came out. Then couldn’t return it because we had washed it. Switched to Kyte baby and never looked back!

I really wanted to love this, but the truth is the sizing seems off and the velcro is really annoying. I got the newborn and it is too big. She is now 10 weeks old and it’s still difficult to swaddle her tight enough so her arms can’t wiggle out. (She is in the 57th percentile. Very average size) It velcros completely underneath her/toward the opposite side. The sticky area for the Velcro is relatively small, and sometimes I go past it on accident and it doesn’t stick. The Velcro also lifts at the edges and gets stuck to other things (like my clothing at 3am).

This is the worst swaddle I’ve ever used. I agree with all of the other comments. It rides up easily, which is very dangerous. The Velcro doesn’t even line up. My daughter can get out of it almost instantly. Terribly made.

This swaddle is wonderful. The shoulder straps keep the swaddle in place and allow for arms in or out. Giving less than 5 stars for the inconsistency in fabric. I had the campsite swaddle and loved it so much I purchased the lullaby forest. The material is totally different. Instead of soft cotton like the campsite, the lullaby forest is thin and scratchy. Recommend buying in person so you can feel the fabric or make sure to return within window!

So me and my husband bought this when our baby was first born it was HUGE ( penguin print )so we bought another print and it fit perfectly, I do agree that Something is wrong with the sizing or whatever but I’m glad we have it at the moment because our son is 3 months now and he needed a bigger one it fits PERFECT enough room for him to stretch his legs and everything! We love it more than ever lol

This swaddle is and always has been great, but where the problem lies is with target itself. After placing my order, I was notified that there were none in stock. So I pull into a parking space and go inside and there’s actually three in stock on the shelf.

This is my son’s favorite swaddle, it’s so easy to use and very soft. I just wish the Velcro didn’t pull back because it is scratchy on my arm when I am rocking my son.

Newborn size incorrect
For some reason, the newborn Halo swaddle we bought is LARGER than our Halo size small swaddle… upon reading some other reviews I agree that it seems like the newborn swaddle is defective!! We bought the penguin print. The fabric is too stretchy that you cannot get it tight enough to work. My newborn escaped it both nights we tried it, which is not safe. It does not have the Halo logo anywhere on it like our other Halo swaddle… hmm. Had to return!

Quality has changed!
I used these for my first two kids and they were great. Bought for my third baby (11lb and I bought the NB size.) it’s ginormous. It isn’t tight enough no matter what I do; the Velcro padding on the back of the swaddle isn’t long enough, like it does not cover the whole back so I’m not able to stick the Velcro strips all the way around him. He wiggles right out. The quality has totally changed and for the price it is ridiculous.

I agree with the other poor reviews below. Something is wrong with this particular swaddle. Its seam unraveled within the first 2 weeks of using it and the Velcro strap stretched out to be ridiculously large. Super disappointed after paying this price for one swaddle.
