eLuxury Wooden Platform Bed Frame

Shipped one box with two pieces of the frame but said it was shipped complete. Really glad I drove this “frame” to Michigan to put it together…what a mess. Don’t bother.

I don’t leave reviews often, but felt compelled to with this product. This was the most defective piece of furniture I have ever received in my life. Furthermore, when I reached out to customer service at target and then at eLuxury about this, to request a refund without having to return the item since it was so big and bulky and difficult to disassemble/repackage/transport, they told me this was not an option. They also did not pick up their phone during business hours, only replied to email. The item was defective in the following ways: 1) the pieces did not not fit together at all. They were raised up in the corners as a result and the mattress had an uneven surface to lay on. 2) some of the support slats were too short and would fall to the floor 3) the parts where they had screwed the side beams into the legs, had split the wood, in a part required for structural integrity 4) the center support beam was extremely unstable, would twist side to side on the floor, and also had a component that was completely splintered and split open. I’ve attached pics for reference. I ultimately disassembled the product, laid it back in the box the best I could, taped the box loosely, and physically took it to target to return it. The customer service agent doing the return had to help me unload it, and even he complained about the size of it.

It’s a good bed frame but came with a lot of dents and unfinished wood pieces, for $400 you can definitely get a better quality bed frame

Bed Slats keep falling through as they seem to be cut too short or the inner frame is too short for the slats to properly reach. They only fall through on one side of the bed at the slightest movement or touch. Each time we try to adjust they fall through on the same side, and is almost too tight on the other side.

Arrived packaged well. Easy instructions. Very sturdy. Easy to put together. Just as described. Love it!

The placement for the center beam was done incorrectly (too much to the right) so I couldn't fit the small wood parts, cause on the left side of the center beam it was too small to fit and had no room on the right side of the beam. In general it's made imprecisely - the frame is a little bigger than what supposes, one wood of the frame is not fitting right because they misplaced the hinges. BUT it has really nice potential and it's heavy and sturdy - therefore 2 stars.

This bed has been unboxed sitting in my house for the past week now because it is dysfunctional and unable to be put together. The corner locks do not lock into place. We have called the company help line several times for some assistance and not sure anyone really works there because we have not heard back. Now I’m going to have to box the extremely heavy parts back up to be returned. A total waste. Oh, and forgot to mention—— it arrived with a large crack and black discoloration that looks like mold on one of the slats. I doubt that’s what it is, but it certainly doesn’t look right. Overall, the price is not worth what I paid at all. Extremely disappointed.

I can't really coment on the quality once assembled bacause I couldn't get past the color. The color almond is not great in person. A very odd red/orange color that is not depicted correctly in the photo. It's a bummer because I really wanted this bed. I'm glad Target has a great return policy.

Made of plywood, extremely poor quality. Opened and returning! Also had many defects on wood frame sides.

I was very nervous due to some reviews but this is a great bed! Very easy to put together.

Poor product and worse packaging. Multiple scratches some deep and paint chips. Target only says return this heavy item. Save you the trouble. Don’t buy

Poor quality, some wood tiles are not in good shape

We were excited to get this admittedly beautiful bed, but when we put it together, we realized the support beam legs didn’t touch the floor, rendering the beams useless. Not only that but the opening to bolt them to the support beams was far too wide and one of the legs split open upon fastening. The company acted swiftly and sent us replacement support legs, but 2 of the 4 were already splitting. The frame also had a nail sticking out of the side and was already cracking on one side near the attachment. Creaking of the frame started 2 weeks in. My husband and I are small people too! This frame went back. It’s a shame because visually it’s exactly what we were looking for to go with our custom carved wall hanging.

I bought the King Size Walnut finish when it was on sale ! Best purchase thus far! It is very simple, but beautiful. My bedroom theme is boho/farm house and this frame matches perfectly. Easy to build; took less than 15 mins. The only issue I had was that the hardware was not sent with the bed frame. After contacting the servicer, they mailed us the hardware separately without a problem! You can’t see the quality of the bed frame, our accent wall is the same color! But so far it’s holding up great. I love the fact that you do not need a bed base.

I put the bed together yesterday and my mattress is still settling from being in a box so haven’t really tested it. There was no hardware in the box for the 4 pieces that support the slat supports so I had to go buy bolts, etc. The holes didn’t line up here either so I had to drill some of them. And the biggest pain was I had to shave wood off the inside of one of the supports because it was too narrow. Without the trip to the store it took me about an hour to modify and assemble. I have the California king and my mattress (dream cloud) is a couple inches too narrow for it, but it’s fine for me. I like the style and that it is solid wood (I bought the natural unfinished). It seems pretty solid and the slats are much more supportive than some of the beds I’ve own over the years. I think that if it does start to squeak there are some adjustments With the hardware that could be made. I think it will hold up well to activity although it hasn’t been tested yet. All in all I’m pleased so 4 stars because of the Missing bolts and modifications. For the price I think this is a good value and I’d still buy it again.
