So far so good
The assembly is fairly straightforward with instructions, fasteners and an Allen wrench included. You'll need a Philips head screwdriver to install the seat, and a hammer to tap in the nylon leg pads, but that's easy too. My wife likes the chair. I think the foot rest should on the outside of the legs, so I gave design 3 stars.

Poor quality
Very bad quality. I purchased 6 and the hardware loosens up contantly. Also, assembly made no sense and the backs never attached properly. Husband is very handy and these didn’t attach properly. Returning all of them for poor quality.

Incorrect height information
The 30" stools, under highlights, say "seat height 22 inches"... ...until you look down at the full specifications, and it says "Seat height 30 inches". My wife bought these thinking the highlights information was correct, but it is not. Target has incorrectly copied the 24" stool highlights onto the 30" stool highlights. Giant waste of time and money.

Good chairs
Just got them put together and so far so good. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is in the assembly instructions it states there is an arrow sticker that you need to line up with a screw hole. On all 3 chairs there was no sticker to be seen but I still got them together.

I ordered a bar stool for my sister who needed something to help her so she's not -on her feet all day. The reason I ordered this one is the description above: Because this item ships in its original packaging, there's no way to hide what it is.Details ( thought this meant she wouldn't have to assemble it!! It didn't say some assembly required, which is what it should have said) She received it yesterday, and she told me she couldn't do it herself as she's older, as I had told her that it should come already assembled. I feel it is misrepresented in the description on how the product comes to someone!!! You better change that notation on the description so others don't make this same error!!! I did call the 800 number & spoke with Alisha, who I explained the whole scenerio & she spoke with her supervisor who said they didn't have anyone able to come out to help her assembe it. She was very pleasant but did say she could send out a gift card to my sister for all the frustrations to her house. My experience for this first time ordering online with Target wasn't a very good one, so this is why I only gave it a "2" on the review.

Where are the markings?
These bar stools a very nice, but putting them together is not. The instructions for attaching the seats although very clear, the markings on the chairs were missing. The seats do not fit properly on the frame. I am very handy, but this project tried my patience.
