Q: What type of bed frame would you suggest goes with this? If you have a few suggestions even better.

A: Hello and thanks for your question. Our headboards are designed to be used with most bed frames but not all frames are designed for use with headboards. Please make sure your selection is. In addition the connection point should be no more than 12" from the floor. For a Wingback specifically, please be sure the frame does not extend beyond the mattress width as it may not fit within the wings. Thanks,

Q: does not seem as if details and Q&A match up for this item. is it a headboard only? does it go to the floor. i wish there were photographs showing item alone.

Q: do you need a boxspring for this bed? what is the ideal mattress/ boxspring combination height?

A: A mattress and box spring will be required. For our wingback beds there are approximately 20” between the metal frame and the bottom of the headboard. The customer will want to fill this space with the mattress and box spring combination.
