Not gold
Loved the design when viewed online, but in person the quality is poor. The gold is more of a brownish-beige color.

Softer than I thought.

Not quality at all
Huge disappointment due to construction. The pillows are stuffed unevenly-more like a sausage than a rectangle. The front and back patterns don't match and this shows from the top. And the pillow is stitched closed with a large, clumsy amateurish seam--again, shows. Would be overpriced even at half price. I'm returning.

Meh
I was super excited about this pillow and very disappointed when it finally arrived... it’s not gold... like, not even a little bit... it’s more of a nude... there’s also no black... only blues, grey, nudes... and it’s kind of expensive for something I could have bought at discount home store.

Description isn't quite accurate
Calling it gold is a bit unfair. It's a gradient beige that slightly mimics a gold, but it certainly doesn't reflect or pop like gold. Looking at the pictures and description, I expected gold, but it's not there. It's definitely noticeable if you have other gold accents in the room.
I don't know what about this pillow justifies the price. Certainly, as a pillow, it functions as you'd expect, but the design and lack of an actual gold color means I can't justify the cost for what it is.
