Throw this sunscreen stick into your bag, backpack, or pocket for sun protection wherever baby may need it. This sunscreen stick is formulated with mineral active ingredients. It is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and free from potentially harsh chemical sunscreen active ingredients that might irritate sensitive skin. Pocket-sized and TSA-friendly, this is the perfect travel companion to our sunscreen lotions. How to Use: Apply liberally to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. We take our sunscreen pretty seriously in our home due to skin cancer coming from all sides. With a fair-complected toddler, you can imagine that I’m looking for stellar protection with an easy-to-apply application. I was very happy with 50 SPF with a sweat-resistance/waterproof for up to 80 minutes. I wasn’t having to worry about reapplying every 5 minutes while my toddler was toddlering about in the yard. I also didn’t have to worry about her fighting me with reapplication because SHE wanted to do it. She liked the child-size deodorant-shaped stick. It was smooth to apply with very little “sunscreen scent”. It wasn’t greasy and rubbed in easily, too. I didn’t have to worry about white streaks, either. She wasn’t running around with a zinc-white nose and shoulders. My only con is the size. It was truly a sample size. I can imagine that very active families would go through multiple sticks during the summer depending on the activities and amount of sun exposure. We have an open yard and spend entire days outside, so there’s no escaping several reapplications. We’ve had pretty rainy weather so far this spring, so we haven’t been outside. However, with the three sunny days we’ve had, we’re approaching 1/2 tube being used. For me, that was why it’s not a 5-star rating.

It works as it's should and, in my opinion and as far i can tell, it has clean ingredients. It doesn't have an overpowering scent, nor is it greasy feeling, which is what usually bothers my kids and myself. I like this smaller size to put in my bag and go but also to have handy for those days when we're just in a rush. My almost 5 year old loves it because she can easily apply it as well. Overall, we all love it and will be purchasing for this summer!
