Ordered this lamp for my bedroom and absolutely love it. Was looking for something where the base didn't take up a lot of floor space. Was also initially reluctant about the purchase after reading some of the reviews. However, it arrived well packaged. The chrome body and marble base are durable and quality mateirals. The marble base is quite heavy and solid to keep the lamp stable. The shade is a true white tone. Was easy to put together. All the parts just screw on easily and all the pieces align . Only thing I would suggest is to switch out the bulb if you want brighter lighting in your space. It came with 60 watt bulb which is pretty soft light. I switched it out for a brigher bulb. Overall happy with this purchase.

I really like the lamp for the price! It’s very sturdy as well as the base. It’s for my sons room so it needs to be sturdy. It’s not as bright as I would have liked but overall happy with the purchase. My package did not arrive with the light bulb.

Lamp itself is beautiful but the lamp shade was bent upon delivery, creating dark folding marks on several areas. Lamp pole is a bit cricket as well. Very disappointed :(
