One of the things that makes the Ember Mug so special is that it can be enjoyed on your coaster or away from the coaster thanks to the internal lithium battery. The amount of time required to reach your perfect temperature will depend on a number of different variables: the temperature setting of the Mug (ie. it will take longer to reach 135°F compared to 145°F), the environmental conditions (Your mug will cool faster when used outside on a cold day vs. during a hot summer day), and the pour temperature of your beverage (fresh brewed hot coffee will take longer to cool than a pot of coffee that has cooled down).
