The fans are quiet and attractive, but I had to knock off one star. In our case, one of the remotes was controlling both fans (which may or may not be ideal depending on your application). In our case, it was not ideal since these were used in two separate bedrooms. Since there are no dipswitches to remedy this (the included instructions are WRONG), Lamps Plus sent out a replacement transmitter, allowing both fans to work independently.

This is an exceptional fan. Nice clean look, without chains hanging. Remote control operation. Quiet fan. Absolutely quiet. What a different from the "dated" fan I replaced it with. If I needed another, I would absolutely purchase the same one again. Also, the lighting is incredible. Bright for a bedroom, but not obnoxious. I can't see how anyone would not be in love with this fan, if purchased.

Fan was nice, but has suddenly stopped responding to the remote while the light is on and the fan blades are running full speed. We have replaced the remote batteries, but this doesn’t help. How do you turn off a fan that’s running full speed without a remote?!

I tried many other fans, this is one of the best in the market. I absolutely love this thing it stays on, keeping a quiet rotation while also living recessed and close to the ceiling. I usually keep it on 1/2 but if you really need a kick third gear pushes! These are a little more costly but honestly worth the money!
