A: Hi - if you use an incandescent bulb, the metal shade will become warm from the heat of the bulb, but not overly so and you can still touch it and adjust it. If you are worried about the heat output, we would suggest using an LED bulb with the lamp. LEDs produce very little heat, so the meat shade will remain cool to the touch. Thank you for the question.

A: Hello - this is very easy to put together, and you shouldn't really need any tools. The lamp pole has threaded sections that screw together and then screw into the base. Install the bulb and then plug into an outlet. That's it. Hope this helps. Thank you for the question!

I thought that the looks of the lamp from the picture on the website looked just ok. I was wanting it for a functional purpose and not to add to the decor of the room. The assembly instructions were easy enough; however, screwing in the parts straight took a lot of re-doing. I found it difficult to keep the parts completely straight. Finally constructed, and I realized it was really an ugly lamp. I do not want to put it anywhere except in a hidden spot in a bedroom. Or perhaps it will go to Goodwill. I will not return it because the cost of sending it back is not worth it.

Yes I would recommend this lamp I like because it doesn’t require a lot of room can adjust the light to where you need it . There isn’t anything I can say why I don’t like it.

The lamp package arrived in seemingly ok condition but when opened, the insides were crushed. Fortunately, the lamp itself was not damaged. The small extension piece that was to have been attached to the actual inner switch on the light bulb base was missing but was later found on the garage floor where the lamp was assembled due to the many, many pieces of loose styrofoam.
The Lamp I ordered was exactly as described and just what I wanted. The in store service was also great.as they helped with assembly.

My lamp doesn’t screw correctly on the bottom. I’m too lazy to go through with a return though and I just really wanted the lamp ASAP so I just have it leaning against my chair in a certain way, so it’s fine whatever. It was cheap enough to not care too much.

My order was supposed to send to a store. Your order confirmation stated that customer will be promptly updated for shipping progress. However, I was never informed for anything, including pickup/order store was closed due to the outbreak. I went to the closed store, got on the phone to customer service, when I asked for expedite shipping to my residence, the service person had me waited on the phone for 20 minutes and stated that the supervisor said “it’s not our fault”, shipping will take regular processing time. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a zero star.
