Investment Cutting Board

I can’t speak to durability yet, but we purchased the John Boos board cream and oil to maintain it and am hopeful this will ensure it lasts! Just be sure to read about how to care for it. A beautiful board for all of your cutting and chopping needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this cutting board! First of all, despite seeing the dimensions, I was still not expecting it to be so big! I have a little apartment sized stove, and it covers almost the entire top. I have only used it for cutting vegetables so far because I still want to oil it, so I don't want to stain it, but it is a dream to use. Not to mention that it is absolutely gorgeous. I was shocked when I opened the package. I just love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first John Boos cutting board, and I would now highly recommend any John Boos products for their quality and workmanship. The cutting board was made with craftsmanship not commonly seen in our world today. The board is thick, substantial, and the perfect size for cutting fruits and vegetables on the flat side. Before I carve any meat on the grooved side of the board, I am using that side this summer when I cut watermelon. The grooves are deep enough to hold the juices and keep counters free of a sticky mess! I might need to invest in a second one to use for meat! This is a heirloom kitchen item to be used for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the nicest cutting board I have ever had. It is so thick and solid wood. There's no doubt about it. This Maple cutting board that I received is amazing. It has little slots in the sides of it for your fingers so you can carry it around because it is very heavy. You can use both sides. One side is the juice side so it has a little moat around it. So all of your juices will fall into it instead of all over your counter. Or you can flip it over and have the smooth cutting board side. I'm a mess so I prefer the juice groove side LOL. And speaking of Messi, this cutting board is so easy to clean up. You just wipe it off and put it back I love this cutting board and I am so looking forward to having many years with it. I highly recommend this. It is almost a piece of art in my kitchen

When making a big meal, or when cooking all day,The groove is deep and ample enough to catch the drippings from a turkey or a large roastFlip it over and you can chop veggies on it all day. It's been really nice. I love it verry much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although a very good and sturdy cutting board, it’s also incredibly heavy and big. In the photo, it looked much smaller but this would take up too much of the counter to cut a singular vegetable. However, if you’re someone who lets say cooks a lot of salmon, cleans fish, etc. this would be great for you. The quality of this cutting board is honestly amazing, when I received it I didn’t expect it to be that heavy either. It has a beautiful texture and natural feel to it, and can come in pretty handy, just maybe not as much for me personally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cutting board. It's huge, it's beautiful, it's perfect. I keep it on my counter at all times. I do admit, even though it's durable, I use a cutting mat on it as I don't want to damage it. It makes a perfect large charcuterie board. Easy to move with the carved out handles. It's just beautiful 😍 This board is of great quality and very large, which is what I needed for rolling out bread dough. There were a couple of blemishes/dings on the corners, but it wasn't a big deal for me. Cutting board is a valuable cooking tool. It needs to be maintained. Do what the incomparable Chef Jean Pierre does: clean as you go. Wipe it down with a slightly damp bar towel after each step of the recipe. Get some foam drawer liner and cut it slightly smaller than the board and place the board on it. This keeps it slightly elevated so air can flow under it and provides a good grip. Oil it regularly (once a month or so) with mineral oil.

Great Cutting Board
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Boos cutting board for a few weeks and I must say it's the best cutting board I've ever owned. Having used cheaper thinner composite boards my whole life, I never knew the difference a good cutting board could make. The heavy weight of the board really keeps the board from shifting while cutting which helps make the whole experience a lot more pleasant. The harder wood knicks a lot less than a softer composite board as well. Maintenance is easy with soapy warm water to clean and oil and conditioner to keep it in good shape. It looks brand new after oiling. I highly recommend this cutting board. It may cost a bit more than the cheap cutting boards, but the professional quality of the board makes it a worthwhile investment.
