Worth it!
It was pricey at $29.99 but it was worth it. My 2 year old loves it!!! She will play with us or by herself. She’s learned the basics of board games. Set-up, rolling dice, taking turns, winning & losing. The pieces are SOLIDLY constructed and lovely. They stand up to her constant abuse: throwing the dice across the room, gnawing on the fruit, etc. Love and highly recommend. She was even able to play with her 1 year old cousin thrashing the pieces around.

This is a GREAT first game!
I was surprised how much my two year old enjoyed this game. He was way more interested and excited about this than Candyland. It was a shock to me. I imagine the simplicity helps- both in gameplay and visuals.

Must-Have First Game for Toddlers
We love HABA products and this is a must-have game for little ones! It is very easy to play and everyone is playing together against the raven. You learn about a lot of gaming concepts like using a die, taking turns, moving a raven along the path, collecting objects, etc. The wood fruits are very high-quality and will last for years. We keep this game out on our bookshelf and play at least once a week before going to bed. Our toddler loves it! I am giving the game 4 stars because the apple is repeated twice in different colors. It would have been nice to have four completely different fruits. There are different versions of this game and they have included four different fruits. Instead of the red apple, one version has red cherries.

Engaging fun for parents and kids.
We brought this for our 2 year old daughter and a year and a half later she still loves playing with this game. It’s a short fun game for parents to play with their child. Good for learning colours too. Instructions are clear and game is high quality. Now that she’s older she likes to use the wooden fruit pieces as play food too, feeding them to her toys/dolls. One of the few games for her age that isn’t a memory matching game.

Beautiful, simple game

Bought this when my toddler just turned 2 thinking she’d grow into it and in the meantime it comes with nice fake wooden fruit. I was surprised how fast she caught on and quickly was able to play the game in full, even several rounds.

We can use the fruits for counting and colors. At some point we will encourage actually playing the game. Wonderful quality. I will buy more from this company.

Wonderful first game that lasts
My son got this for Christmas when he was 2. It was such a fun first game for him. The pieces are great quality made of wood and larger for little hands to grip. The thing I love about this game the most is that it has stood the test of time. It’s still in our rotation and he’s almost 6 now. So simple and really love the cooperative play. We got creative and made up a few different ways to play. If we win, we give the Raven a piece of fruit because we “saw how hard he was trying and he was probably really hungry.” We’ll play several rounds at a time. This game is such a sweet little gem.
