don't do it to yourself
Nasty nasty nasty. this is a disservice to indian food. I bought this just to try and the only good thing was the naan. Indian frozen meals can be a hit or miss so I bought Deep Indian Tikka masala as well. I ended up eating the Deep Indian with the naan from this kit and threw out the Tikka masala from Sukhi's. Deep Indian is MUCH better. thank me later

Gross!!
This is disgusting and I love Indian food! I’ve tried all the brands and this was inedible. It tasted spoiled maybe? Idk weird flavor. Chef Bombay is delicious. This went in the garbage bc I was afraid of getting food poisoning

Unsuspecting Flavor Bomb for Frozen!
I had been pretty loyal to the other frozen Indian meals that this retailer sells. I was fairly happy with them, though they were decent for frozen microwaveable fair, but nothing standout. I decided to try this a few weeks ago and was absolutely blown away by how much flavor this packs and how good the quality of the chicken was compared to literally every other frozen chicken meal I’ve had / even Kevin’s. It absolutely kills the competitors in both departments. Now, I see other reviews talking about shrinkflation, and that may be true, but for the flavor and quality relative to price, this is dang good. Can recommend thoroughly!

Now has small meat portions
I've purchase the chicken tikka masala meal for over a year. The portions of chicken was acceptable but now the portion is unacceptable. The last 3 boxes i purchased had 3 small pieces of chicken in each and sauce. Enough for maybe two small bites of chicken. This is not 25 grams of protein or an acceptable portion for customers. Disappointed at how they cut back their portions.

Shockingly Good
This was probably the best chicken tikka microwave meal I’ve ever had. I considered making it in the oven but I’m actually really glad I made it in the microwave because it was so delicious and saved me 45 minutes. The flavor was incredible, the chicken tender, the rice cooked perfectly without getting hard. Even the naan which I assumed would be really bad because it’s impossible to microwave bread, was really yummy. It didn’t get hard or chewy, stayed soft. I mixed the rice and chicken together but I do wish I had saved some of the sauce for the naan. Overall an incredible meal and I’ll definitely be buying again!

They changed it and made it worse in every way
It used to have 33 grams of protein now there’s only 28. Different packaging, less protein, less calories, worse taste. They changed everything for the worst. And it’s still the same price. Absolutely disgraceful.

I hated it

The portion was a good size and the cooking instructions were very easy. Maybe it will be good to those that already enjoy Indian food, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Bland rice
I find it highly unlikely that it is actually basmati rice. Basmati rice is flavorful and fragrant, this rice is bland and no flavor. It ruins the whole meal. The chicken is nice large chunks, but it could use more sauce to soak up with the rice and naan, the sauce is what Indian food is all about!

first of all there is always one long thin invisible string of something and then the sauce is flavorful but on the verge of being abrasive and finally not in the years before but this year the chicken has been disintegrated into strings not in a happy way
