not worth buying
stop dehumidifying in less than a year after buying. the machine turns on but the dehumidifying feature is not working. waste of money!!!!

Not a great long term investment
Worked great for 1.5 years but basically unusable now as it no longer collects water.

No longer works, didn't last 2 years
Stopped working in just under two years. Subpar quality. I didn't mind the noise as long as it worked, but folks with sensitive hearing will be bothered. Do not recommend due to lack of longevity.

Dehumidifier Didn't Last/Target won't help
I bought this dehumidifier to help an ailing family member who lives in a humid part of home. We use this only in summer months. So purchased in 6/22 used three summer months, cleaned and stored, used 2023 summer months, cleaned and stored and now when i took it out to use it, it won't work and target won't help. I chatted several time. This is simply product not working. Product cost greater than $200. Target did not offer help and told me I was out of luck. I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

broke after 3 months of use
Lasted less than 1 year! This is junk like all the rest. Ran it for 3 months last summer, then turned it on this week and it runs for 5 mins and shuts off - no water in bucket and coils not cold. What a waste of money, thought buying a bigger unit would hopefully last longer, but no such luck.

We can understand how upsetting this would be and would like to help! Selecting the right size of dehumidifier will depend on both the amount of moisture in the air and the size of the room. Bigger isn't better. Please know that if your ceiling is 10' add 25% to the room's square footage. A 50 Pint Dehumidifier will work well in a very large, mildly damp home that is 4,500 square feet. If your home is very wet and 1,500 square feet, it will be fine. However, if you have a slightly damp 2,000 square foot home, you'd want a 35 Pint dehumidifier. Please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to service. Warranty information from your manual are as follows: • Call Haier at 866.907.1655 to initiate the product replacement process. • You will be asked to provide your name, address, date of purchase, model and serial number. • Haier will arrange for a carton to be sent to your home to recover the product. • You must return the product (postage pre-paid by Haier) to GE Applaince’s recovery center before a replacement unit will be provided. Please include a description of the defect. • You should receive your replacement product within 7 to 10 business days after your unit is received.

Not working-not repairable
This is not working after less than a year, and even less time running. No replaceable parts, what a waste.

3-prong plug in
It is a nice feature that I can "plug" the plug into the back of the dehumidifier when rolling it from room to room. It looks tidy and doesn't flop around.

No way to clean water tank
Yellow mold like film forms in the water tank and chlorine does not help to remove it.

We're happy to provide some guidance! Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially fill the bucket with clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse. NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the water bucket. To remove: Remove the bucket and pour out any water. I consider myself very fortunate to choose this dehumidifier for our home. It works like a charm and quite quiet to boot and I find it easy to use . . I’m so impressed with this one that I am buying another! My sons one is very noisy in comparison and more complicated to understand!

Reliability stinks
Only lasted 2 years. Then strange noises like it was coming apart and fan seized. Terrible reliability from what I thought was a top notch manufacturer. Giving me a hard time replacing. Bought online and only have emails and Frigidaire won't except as a valid receipt. Never again!

Works like a charm!
I've only had this for a few months now, but so far it's been working perfectly. I have it on constantly due to a humidity issue. A lot of people complained after about a year, I'll come back to update if anything changes.

Do NOT Purchase
After using this dehumidifier last August & September, when I plugged it in, this spring, it didn’t work. It will turn on and shortly after turn off & not reduce the humidity level. I tried cleaning it, replaced the filter, emptied the bucket, checked the water level thing, reread all the instructions, watched internet videos and nothing worked. I finally trashed it and bought a different brand. I do NOT recommend buying this unit as it does not last.

Pretty good product
So far the product seems to work pretty well although it rattles a little bit where the water tray is. It seems to clear the humidity out of the room pretty well. We have only had the product for a few weeks.
