The good and the bad

I use to have almost these exact same chairs from Target years ago and I’ve been waiting for them to be sold again. Was super excited to see these and ordered immediately. They arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. First thing I noticed was the cording was made from a different material which isn’t a huge deal. Though it makes them look/feel cheaper than the previous model. I put them together easy enough but each chairs base is missing a screw due to the screw not catching and going in. I did everything I could and it’s like the hole was too big. So both chairs only have 3 out of 4 base screws but thankfully still stable. I’m not returning these after putting them together outside in the scorching Texas heat. Hopefully they tweak the issues for future purchasers. They are nice looking chairs, roomy and comfortable.

Retro comfort

They are a bit tricky to put together by yourself. But I love how they look and they are SO comfortable!

Comfy chairs, easy assembly

Disagree with the other review, putting these together was pretty quick and simple - did the first in under 20 minutes and the second went much quicker. I did it alone (while wrangling a toddler who wanted to “help”) but would have been faster with a second person since the hardest part is keeping the parts aligned with one hand while getting the screw to catch with the other - screw in the screw by hand until it catches, then use the Allen wrench to finish tightening. Very comfy chairs.

Brutal assembly

Absolutely awful installation. For 8 screws, it should not be this complicated. I’ve never been so frustrated before trying to put something together. I like them otherwise but the construction and assembly is absolutely awful and not at all worth the frustration considering these are relatively cheap chairs.
