My girl is gonna be 14 years old in two months. 70 pounds . She's on home cooked food so the vet recommended her be put on multivitamins. I chose these for senior dogs. She had high kidney and liver enzymes so hopefully her bloodwork will be alright in a few weeks. She's pretty picky about supplements or any medication so I wasn't sure how she would do with just eating 3 chews at one time. She took them with no issues. Usually I just break up in her food so it won't be dry when she eats them. I'm on the second bag so we're will see how she's doing with her next bloodwork and update!

Dogs have only been on product for about 2 weeks, they seem to like the taste, will continue to use product. I know they are getting the nutrients they need.

Amino acids are important :)

I received this product as a free sample. I believe adding key amino acids is important for all dogs, but especially senior dogs. This contains taurine which is important for heart health.

This review is part of a free sample program. On breaking the seal, a strong aroma of pear on the nose but mellowed to allow notes of earth and beef soup to join. Dark brown with medium weight and full body but balanced and crumbles well for easy chewing. Excellent depth of vitamins and nutrients. Dog appears to appreciate what must be a complex flavor profile.

My senior dog is acting like a puppy again.

Great senior line of supplements!

Great for raw-fed seniors

This is an honest review as an employee of FoodScience: I'll bounce back and forth between Canine Plus Senior Multivitamin and Golden Years Energize & Thrive, because both of them are really great multivitamins for older dogs. My two oldest are turning 11 this spring, so it's really important to me that they're getting balanced nutrition. Since we try to rotate different proteins and produce into our raw meal mixes to keep things fun, interesting, and healthy, multivitamins are an important part of my dogs' diet. I'm glad to know they're getting the good stuff. As they do get older, I'm finding that they're enjoying these softer chews more, so I think Golden Years is going to be our primary going forward!

Who wants (their dog) to live forever? ME!

"FOREVER YOUNG, I WANNA BE FOREVER YOUNG" -my dog, probably. We all want our dogs to live forever, and I really love that this supplement packs so much good stuff into one bag. The soft chew is perfect for old-dog mouths, and the recipe seems really gentle on tummies. No problems here with digestion, and my dog really really seems to love the flavor. Great product. Any extra day I can get with my dog is priceless.

We just started with Golden Years and at 14 years old seems to like them. Have one request, consider adding flavors beyond chicken like salmon, duck, etc. Literally food for thought!

Senior Vitamins

My fifteen year old male dachshund is loving his Vetriscience vitamins. They have a great smell and he loves the taste. Since adding these daily with his home cooked meals he is more energetic on walks and is doing zoomies again through the house. I will continue to use these throughout his remaining years. I do not have to second guess whether he is getting all of the vitamins and minerals in his diet. Love this product!

Not for my pups

Neither of my Seniors would take these - a 16 year old Bichon and an 8 year old rescue Pittie who loves any kind of treatz . Smell is very medicinal . These are very expensive for them not to take. I am very disappointed in both supplements I bought . Smell and taste need improvement. What's the point of " healthy supplements for aging seniors " if they won't take them?

I can see a difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these now for a few months. I first tried them with my oldest senior, who is in his twenties. This did seem to help. I think this is overall just a great supplement in general. The packaging is easy to use too, which is awesome because some are very hard to open. Palatable it seems as no one has refused one yet. Lol
