Its cute and functional.... but not built to last.
Small footprint is great and the cubby inside can store notebooks and such. However after only 3 months it’s falling apart. I’ve replaced the hinges and reinforced them but it doesn’t matter. The desk itself is made of particle board that just disintegrates. I’ll have to buy a new desk that I don’t have the $$ for soon.

Lacks instructions for important parts
This little desk is perfect in my office setup between two tower bookcases, and while the parts and instructions were clear for the most part, there was NO mention of how to position or install the knob on the desk cover or (more disappointing) the plate of the closing mechanism on the desk lid. Both plates on the closer have screw holes and an additional long slot for a screw that allow for fine tuning the closing action, but there was no description of that or instructions on where to place the second half of the bar. With respect to the knob, we did the best we could in centering and positioning a hole in the cover, but when we screwed it in, the round head of the screw protrudes beyond the writing surface of the desk, allowing it to scratch your laptop or make holes in your writing paper. A counter-sunk pre-drilled hole, as there were for most of the other parts, would have been very helpful. Additionally when we tried to replace the screw with a flat-head fastener we discovered that the threads are apparently metric, which left me to purchase a new knob. Those annoyances aside, I look forward to using this little desk.
