As others have noted, this rug has extreme shedding. The manufacturer states that it may shed for up to a month; however, we have had it for nine months now and there are no signs of stoppage. Clumps of fibers emerge after walking on the rug just a couple of times, so it requires daily vacuuming. Learn from our mistake! The return window closes before you realize the shedding isn’t a short term issue. Sadly, this is going to the curb as the continuously shedding fibers aren’t safe for a baby.

I've had this rug in my son's nursery for over a year now and this rugs has not stopped shedding. It is a true nuisance. It is nice and thick, not particularly soft, but the shedding has made my husband and I loathe this rug. If you need an idea of just how much shedding, we can't even vacuum the entire rug without clogging our Dyson vacuum.

To clean this rug, we recommend vacuuming without the beater bar (you can either raise the bar to the highest setting or remove it) at the lowest suction setting. The “baby blue” is misrepresented. It is not blue at all as shown in the photo. It is in the green family. So do not purchase if you’re looking for a true light blue color.

Beautiful! Super comfortable under foot and obviously well made. Our dining room looks great and this rug really helped in tying it all together. Easily the best quality rug I’ve purchased in years.
