Q: Does this have a gripper so the draw string fits securely on the trash can

submitted by MK - 1 year ago

  • A: MK-    Thank you for your inquiry. These bags do not include a built-in gripper or similar feature. For a secure fit, we recommend using a 13-gallon trash can with a liner lock, or try tucking the drawstrings tightly by placing the bag in the can and gently pulling them until they fit snugly around the rim. Thank you, Kerri

    Terrible quality

These hefty bags have been so weak and easily breakable lately. We just had to use THREE bags for the same trash load. I don’t know if it’s just a manufacturing mistake or what but we used to always trust hefty..now, not so much

    Hefty, Hefty, Hefty!

I buy these scented trash bags for the “messy” trash I have during the week. They appear to be on the flimsy side, but they’ve always stood up to the test for me. They hold quite a bit. I haven’t had any problems with leakage, and the strong scent helps to control any odors within the trash bin, even when the bin sits out in the hot sun for a few hours on trash day.

Absolutely overkill on the fragrance, they’re nauseating, we had to put the box in the garage as the whole house reeked, do not buy.

    Awful Chemical Smell

I am sure the bags are "ultra strong", but so is the odor! Whoa! They aren' kidding when the bix advertises "extended scent". I had to put the box outside, it is so strong. Awful chemical smell. The box is gone but I can still smell it hours later!

    Not Ultra Strong

These suck. Purchased 2 boxes for a deal. One of the boxes you couldn’t use the drawstrings because they were attached to the bag itself. The box that I could use would rip every time I took out the trash.

    Horrible fragrance

Bought these by accident. The smell is horrible and causes a headache. I also looked up Fabulosa and found that there are toxic byproducts from the products and endocrine disruptors in the fragrance. I don’t even know why they’re carrying this brand. It really smells overly powerful and horrendous.
