Fisher-Price Little People Recycling Truck

My trash truck obsessed son love this vehicle and has yet to put it down after two weeks with it. The recycling song is too catchy though but at least I’ve almost forgotten about the purple monkey song because of it.

The birthday boy was totally interested in this item right away. It's well made with no sharp edges. The recycling pieces are not small enough to be a choking hazard. The tune it plays about recycling will probably become a brain worm for the parents 😁.

My toddler LOVES this truck. The songs are cute and catchy, the truck is interactive, and overall it's a great choice. All of the Little People trucks play the best songs that my toddler loves.

Loads of fun and teaches recycling

My 18 month old received this as a gift for Christmas and absolutely loves it. My husband and I appreciate that the songs and sayings are cute and educational without being something that will get stuck in your head all day. We also have the bus and i occasionally regret that purchase as he will sit down and just push the button over and over until it plays wheels on the bus and then repeat the process for 15 mins. With the truck you actually have to move the basket or put the driver in the seat for any sounds so it encourages him to actually play with the toy rather that repeatedly but a button. It’s the perfect size for little hands to move all the parts and push around. I’m very impressed with the quality for the price. And again appreciate the variety of sounds and songs compared to the bus.

We have been gifted multiple toys from fisher price that have no off switch. Literally why? My MIL loves to gift us the most annoying toys. I don’t mind noisy toys, but no off switch? Who is designing these?

The way he races it around the house shows the well made product. The movement of making the truck recycle stuff is easy and and be done with easy by my son. This has led to hours of fun. The attention to detail and making the product look authentic is great. This is one of the many Little People vehicles he has. This fits right in with the bus, fire engine, and tractor.

Alternating sounds, tunes and phrases sound off each time the little person sits on the driver seat or leverage lifts up to pick up recycling material. Lots of sounds, lots of movable parts, lots of fun to keep a toddler entertained. Maybe not so much fun for the adult since no switch to turn off sound. A full day of playing this recycle truck may get the truck recycled.

It is exciting to lift the arm on the back of the truck to dump items into the recycling truck. It also has cute sound effects and songs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This recycling truck is extremely well built. It will hold up to a toddlers hard playing. The noise it makes really got my grandsons attention. The plastic “Recyclables” were more like square discs that were imprinted. It was hard to identify what was being recycled. The little person was cute and my grandson played with that alone. I took one star off because it seemed like it was more for up to age 3 and my grandson is 4.
