    Runs really small

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A 9 1/2 is really like a 8 they were way too tight. Nice concept, but I had to return them.

    First impressions out of the box.

    Purchased these because I hunt in the south. My first impression is that they are very stiff. I know they should keep snakes out! I wish they had another 2 Velcro straps along the shin to help the one Velcro strap that is at the top of the boot. The zipper seems a little flimsy. It travels a long way with only the zipper holding the boot together. Again this is my first impression thoughts. I have to break them in so they might loosen up a bit. I do like the look and the weight of them.

    Great for all seasons

    Boots are great light weight option for winter boots in the south, warm enough for our mild winter, but rugged enough for the elements. The snake protection is an added bonus, as we're still seeing timber rattlers in late November.

    Snakes are cold blooded reptiles

    Purchased a pair of Rocky Snake proof boots, called Rocky Original Ride FLX zipper back. They look nice, but for some reason the boot was designed with an inner lining, possibly for insulation. This lining can be found in their other boots. Note for the Rocky boot snake proof designers- snakes are cold blooded reptiles. 99% of your snake proof boot buyers don’t need insulated boots! Please go take a look at Justin or Chippewa snake proof boots, hire someone from their team and do it right.

    90% of the rocky bootsI've tried are instant trash

    Best boots i ever owned were rockys. This boot sucks. All around instant garbage. Waterproofing fails quickly, zipper failed on third outing. Very light use, fake boots would perform better.

    Almost a home run...

    This is my second pair, I love the fit and durability of these boots. Im hard on footwear and these definitely outlast all the other brands that I've tried. Why the low rating? These were not waterproof I found out the hard way, and that's super important in the woods.

    Nice comfortable boots if they didn’t leak water

    I bought these boots a couple weeks ago got the worm for the first time yesterday on 1102 2025 out in the woods by the swamp comfortable boots. Nice boots but they leaked.

    Great boots Zipper No Problem

    Very happy with my new replacement boots, my previous pair was 9 years old. NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ZIPPERS, use a little logic and place two fingers behind the zipper to prevent the fabric from catching the zipper. Water proof is excellent

    Bad fit.
