TARGET DELIVERS BROKEN ITEMS
Two deliveries on this item - and frankly, five other orders total - and everything continues to arrive damaged. The absolute lack of care for customers- our time, our money, and frankly our safety because I have to dispose of broken items without slicing myself - is appalling, and Target has yet to fix these ongoing issues. They have absolutely zero regard and take zero responsibility.

Truly only the base included; do not bother shipping
First order shipped and like other reviews came broken in a million pieces. Second order I picked up in stores and the lamp itself is beautiful — but I think they should note that it does not come with the harp/finials to attach a lamp shade so they are required to be purchased separately in addition to a lamp shade. Overall beautiful, just a lot of work to coordinate all the pieces.

Arrived broken with no packaging in box
Can't comment on the lamp, but arrived in a box with absolutely no packing. Some knucklehead is shipping these lamps from a CA warehouse by just placing them in a box and slapping the label on. It's happening multiple times, not sure where the quality control is with this. 1 star for poor quality control.

No lamps
I have not received a lamp yet. I ordered 2 for store pick up. Store did not have 2 and indicated that I did pick up 1 (I did not). Second lamp was changed to shipping and when received was a box of shattered ceramic…packed only with a strip of packing paper. So far I have only received a refund for 1 lamp (after a trip to customer service and 2 phone calls). I still have no lamps.

Broken/poor customer service
Lamp showed up broken. One was intact, shockingly because there was no padding. The description also states that there are LED lightbulbs included and there were none. I contacted Target for replacements and they want me to send the smashed lamp back to receive a new one, that’s ridiculous. I am not going out of my way for their poor planning and packaging.

Both times I ordered, it was broken
The lamp is beautiful, but I ordered one, and it arrived in a box with no padding/packaging to protect it, so needless to say, it was in pieces. Then the replacement that was sent out came in a box with a little plastic packaging, not doing anything, so that one was also broken. Would recommend buying in store.

substantial but not overwhelming
This lamp is a great addition to my dark modern organic decor. I like that it is made of ceramic and not resin. The texture gives interest while the black grounds any space it is in. The lamp is well made yet not terribly heavy. I like that it is a substantial piece without overwhelming the space on my sideboard. With a little dressing and perhaps lampshade changes, this piece easily transitions through the seasons. I love how this compliments the other black pieces in this room.
