Olivia & May Traditional Mango Woodcarved Pedastal Accent Table Dark Brown: Round, No Assembly Required

This table does not arrive assembled. It is easy to put together. Solid wood, the top is 2 pieces not 1 solid piece. It does have a 'white wash' appearance on the top and base. My main issue is that it is not stable;as in 1/2' off which is a lot. I will try to put spacer of some sort under it as it is a cute table. Target will not exchange-refund only.

There were only 2 reviews for this table and they were both very confusing so I just decided to go for it. It's a great price so why not. It's a fantastic little table. Looks very well made and took me all of 3 mins to unpack it and put it together. I love it.

A most sneaky price my friends. Lesson number 1) never love no… nevermind. Lesson number 2) price is not a representation of quality. Quality cannot be changed by numbers or words. It is or it isn’t. The price can go up or down but the merch quality will not change. Maybe in your mind it will but not in reality. So, my enemies, learn to identify pieces that are real timeless quality like this here. It helps to read the reviews and see how they try to disguise it even further. The 4 star review was the new 5 star review but now the 1 star is the 5 star reveiw or let’s not sleep on the notorious zero review, review. That is the jackpot! Look at this wood. Look at the detail. It twists and it’s engraved and it’s real solid wood made out of mango which you can eat when you get hungry. Yummyyyy! So don’t be shy, grab some mango wood and use it for your coffee then eat it for desert with some sticky rice. Oh, I’m just now being told that mango wood and mangos are not the same. I guess mango grows on trees or something but you should not consume the tree. It’s not tasty like the fruit is. Well sorry but I guess I hyped it up for no reason at all. This table sucks after all.

The carving is beautiful and I love mango wood, but thought I would get the darker version of the table. It is not darker wood. It is only wood with blue gray paint splashed over it. Literally the base just has swipe paint marks throughout. It is ridiculously deceptive. The top is not bad, but again, it is blue gray paint smeared on and wiped off or maybe painted in the higher surfaces, but it is not a patina, nor is there any evidence that any of it was done with any care. I am ordering the brown version, because I like the shape of the table and the mango, but this blue gray version is cute, I can only see it working and a paint studio, where maybe other paint is also splattered on it, so that it does not look so cheaply faux in a regular room. I was so looking forward to this table and have a specific plan for it. Very, very, very disappointed.
