The material was similar to an artificial Xmas tree where you have to move and bend all of the branches to shape. I was expecting more of a soft garland material similar to what you wrap around the tree. All in all, I did keep and like the product.

This garland is very durable. It's thick and made well.It has battery operated lights and berries on it! Its got wire to hold it all together so you can bend it on the mantle to fit properly!! Looks fantastic!!

Lovely lighted garland! The battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely lighted garland! The battery pack makes it easy to display without cords. The lights get a little dimmer as the batteries wear down, as you can see in my photos. It wasn’t a problem, one of batteries set lasted the season for us. It’s coming down tomorrow!

Garland is beautiful, lights aren't great
Beautiful, full garland. The only issue is that the lights are battery powered and don’t last long. I’ve replaced the batteries three times this month. Also, the lights are a soft white, but actually seem to have a yellowish tint.

The power box broke after one week of use
For the price of this garland I expected it to have a timer, so I wouldn’t have to run up and down on my stairs each time I need to turn it on and off. And after a week or being in use one of the garlands I’ve got stopped turning on and off since the switch button doesn’t work anymore. Now I need to find the new battery power box and replace the old one… otherwise the garland doesn’t work. And it’s located on my handrails in the row with the others… so one segment of stairs decoration doesn’t have the light. Ugly and very disappointing.
