Melissa & Doug Blues Clues & You! Cooking Play Set: Creative Learning, Pretend Kitchen, 42 Pieces Wood Toy

My kids like this playset but upon arrival the faucet attachment had already fallen off and you could see that it was held together with just a small line of glue. The back wooden stand for the spatula also snapped within days of just regular play. Easy fixes but was expecting better quality for a Melissa and Doug product and for the price. Wouldn't buy again.

This Blues Clues & You Cooking Playset is hours and hours of weekly fun for my 4 and 6 year old. I thought my (almost 7) year old might be "too old" for this type of toy but she loved cooking and taking orders. We had a playdate with a 3 and 1 1/2 year old who had just as much fun, so I can easily see this being a hit with kids age 9 months and up. There are no little pieces that can pose as a hazard, and when placed on the ground the kitchen is sturdy easy to use. I love that it's made of wood, and I really appreciated that there were no stickers to try and put on straight. Assembly took about 2 minutes. Solid win!!

The mitten was a plus along with the spoons and pot. My 1 year old and 3 year old were definitely in love with every feature.

It comes with the right amount of accessories, and lets the child learn different foods, and make their own recipes with the food cutouts. My daughter loves it!

Best part of it is that it's so versatile and compactable at the same time!

It has helped teach them good eating habits by helping them choose which foods are healthier choice. Iove seeing them use the little pot with utensils and their interest in cooking. We have a garden so they see how food is grown and makes it to their plates! The set is well made Melissa and Doug combined with the imagination of Blue's Clues which is a great pairing!

The wood parts are great and not easily broken. They also don't soak when being chewed on. Melissa and Doug is my definite favorite brand of educational products. I can't wait to buy more products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so cute! It definitely combines the quality and fun of Melissa and Doug with the cute imganitive play of Blue's Clues and You. My son loved seeing some of his favorite characters like Slippery Soap, Mr. Salt, and Mrs. Pepper. I love that it comes with a lot of play food. It's all double sided with different food on each side so it ends up being twice the amount of food. It's almost all made of wood except the pot, plate,and utensils which are a really sturdy plastic. My son is almost 3 and loves the little menu book because it shows the plates made and he can easily re create them. He's had hours of fun with this toy and really enjoys making "food" for our entire family. The sink flips over and even has a griddle top. He loves turning the knobs to turn the stove on. It's not huge so it doesn't need a ton of space and is easy to move around. It has built in storage for all of the food so you don't gave to worry about it getting lost. There's also storage spots for the spoons and menu. We love this toy and definitely reccomend it!

I always prefer wooden toys because it's good for kids and environment . It come with lots of food figures and cooking pot, burner. My little one play all day long with it. She is very happy with this set.
