Q: why is sodium cocoyl isethonate an ingredient in something that's supposed to be hypoallergenic when coconut is a nut that can cause an allergic reaction?

    Gentle and works great

    Clean feeling

    Great skin cleanser. I have been using Cetaphil for about 10 years. I tend to have oily skin and it works well for me. It is very gentle and does not dry my face. I like how it feels afterward, some cleansers make my face feel tight and dry while others make it feel like I have a residue on my skin.

    My staple cleanser

    I switched to this cleanser on a recommendation from my dermatologist. It’s perfect for my dry skin. I love the milky texture that doesn’t feel like it dries my skin out. I have used this product for years! Great price point too.

    Sensitive skin

    I suffer from sensitive skin, but, this cleanser is amazing. It leaves my face feeling soft and moisturised. It doesn’t have much of a smell! I’ve been using this for over a year and I have never had any problems with it.

    Gentle non drying formula

    I use this product every night. It’s perfect to clean the day off. It leaves my skin feeling fresh but not dried out or tight like some products. I have no redness and my skin has never looked better!

    Lather with water to foam

    I have been using this cleaner since I was a teenager and till this day I love it. It’s light and gentle not harsh to the skin all while cleaning dirt and impurities.

    Gentle cleanser yet so effective

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is actually a long time favourite of mine for many reasons. Firstly, it’s the only cleanser I’ve tried that removes makeup and impurities the first time round, no need for reapplication to remove stubborn makeup, does it all straight away, secondly, it’s non irritating to the skin and eyes, hydrating glycerin provides moisture back into the skin and with vitamin B3 and pro B5 helps soothe and rejuvenate the skin. It’s dermatologist tested for sensitive skin and honestly the only one I trust. Excellent value for money and better care for your skin. Highly recommend

    Hydrating and soothing everyday cleanser!

    Simple gently ingredients

    I really enjoy this old school classic because jt is gentle for all skin types and helps preserve the skin barrier while allowing the makeup and grime of the day to be stripped off gently! My mother and even my kids use this as well! A tried and true classic !

    While this product is well-priced, it doesn't feel like it fully cleans my skin at times. I use it twice daily and it gets a good lather for usage. However, I feel like grease is still left on my face after.
