If you would like to install the shade INSIDE of the window frame, measure horizontally, at the top of your window sill. Using the measurement, round down to the closest whole number. Your shade will arrive with an 1/4" deduction, to ensure a perfect fit. If you would like to install inside of the window frame, your window sill must be at least 1" deep.
If you would like to install your shade OUTSIDE of the window sill, measure in the same place. Using the measurement, we recommend adding 4 to 5 inches to the width and length, to ensure full coverage. Your shade will arrive with an 1/4" deduction.
All Linen Avenue shades are child and pet safe with a smooth CORDLESS operation that conforms to CPSC child safety guidelines. Hardware: End caps, simple snap-in top mount brackets (that fit for both inside mount and outside mount applications), and mounting hardware is included.

Q: Are these static roller shades where they stop and go back up just by moving them or are they spring loaded where you have to pull down before they will retract back up?

Good DIY alternative to custom shades

We installed these in two bedrooms last year, they have held up well. We can’t afford custom shades right now so these have been a good DIY alternative. I have the dark grey which blocks out the light sufficiently. A little bit of light peaks in through the sides but that’s to be expected.

Good Quality fr the pice

Good quality shade for the price. The only thing I don’t care for is the white backing on the dark grey shade. I wish it were the same color as the front of the shade.

All our Blackout fabric has the White backing to prevent any light from permeating the fabric and to conform to HOA requirements. The Light Filtering fabric does not have the white backing.

High Quality and Easy to install

These were easy to install with clear directions. The shades themselves are sturdy and high quality. The color is vibrant and clean. Overall I no would highly recommend these shades and will continue to buy them for the rest of my windows

Matches my greige living room perfectly.

Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has such amazing qualities. It's heavy duty so you don't have to worry about damage. The shade is on the thicker side and doesn't sway even with a breeze from a fan blowing on it. It was on the fairly easy side to hang up. Just a few screws like a normal shade would be as well. It doesn't let any light through which is definitely my favorite part of all. Overall I'd definitely recommend this product!

High quality fair price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this awesome cordless blackout roller shade a while back. You can get it in several colors the darker the color the darker the room will be. You can choose to install it inside or outside of the window frame. They are made of polyester fabric so it is excellent quality. It does the job for convenience you can let the light in or darken the room for maximum comfort.

Almost perfect

Although it is pricy, the quality is good and it works well as it should be. It will be perfect if it can add a ring at the bottom so it can be easier to pull down.

47" x 66"

Easy to install and does what it’s suppose to do. Keep in mind that the shade part is not the actual length you’re buying. Both sides is a tad shorter and you can see some light go through but I knew that buying this product. See attached picture

Perfect blackout shade

Perfect backout shade for my toddler's room. Rolls up and down easily and slowly. It does let in a little light on the sides/top, but if you use curtains with it it's no issue. Was super easy to install, only took like ten minutes.
