Ultra Hydrating Plant Ceramide Daily Facial Lotion - 1.7 fl oz

I've used this product for nearly 2 years, first just once a day, and now daily in the morning and evening. My skin that used to be dry on my cheeks now feels hydrated, even before I put the product on, but obviously especially afterward. Heavy face moisturizers sometimes make my face sweaty so I prefer lighted products. This one works perfectly for me, light but still very hydrating.

This moisturizer saved me as I went onto an intense prescription retinoid in the winter, which is the ultimate test of any moisturizer. I have dry, acne prone skin, and it didn’t bother my skin or break me out. 10/10, absolutely underrated.

I'm completely sold on this moisturizer. I've been using it for the past 4 months daily in the morning on top of a rosewater toner and face oil. I really like that it soaks in quickly, doesn't leave me feeling greasy, and is unscented (though I wouldn't mind a light scent). Initially, the bottle seemed small for the price but it's taken me 4 months to get through 1, so the price now seems reasonable to me. You also can't beat that it's vegan, made with clean ingredients, and they are phasing out of plastic bottles to aluminum ones to increase recyclability.

I have bought all 3 moisturizers in this Acure line and I think this is my favorite. A little goes a long way, and it comes out thick but absorbs into my skin quickly. I have combination skin, but the brutal Midwest winters make my skin especially dry. I have been dealing with some acne, redness, and skin texture lately, and this has kept my skin moisturized without causing acne or more texture. I also love that it comes in an aluminum tube for better recycling potential. This will continue to be part of my morning routine.

As other reviews have said, this is not ultra hydrating. I was expecting this to be great for my dry winter skin, but this would be much better suited for summertime. And yes, it does smell a little weird.

I have dry, sensitive skin. My current moisturizer was too heavy for the humid summer months so decided to try this. It leaves my skin tight, uncomfortable and noticeably dry after applying. On the plus side, it doesn’t leave my skin greasy and heavy feeling by the end of the day. Definitely won’t be enough moisture for the dry winter months and will go back to my usual moisturizer at that point. I have mixed feelings about this product. I would consider it just an average moisturizer and not “Ultra hydrating”. I won’t purchase again especially for the price.

I bought this product as sprouts and honestly all a cute products I enjoy. This lightweight cream does make my face feel moisturized and it makes my pores on my nose disappear. I've been using it for a week and I love it!

This product keeps my skin more balanced - less oil, more matte, and still just as much hydration. Glad I tried this one!

Bought this specific for the PGA in it and, like all Acure products, it didn't disappoint. Perfect formulation, glide and hydration. This ingredient list is crazy good!

Smells too bad to use, did little to hydrate my skin

For context, I have combination, acne and dehydration prone skin. I was initially excited about this product because the more vegan ceramide products available, the better! Initially I was very impressed with the texture, how well it absorbed into the skin and how soft, hydrated and moisturized my skin felt. After about 3-5 minutes though my skin started to sting and turn red. I tried the lotion a few more times to isolate my variables and it's for sure this lotion. I'm stumped as to why this gives me issues because all the ingredients I've tried before with no issue. My only theory is that the alcohol content is such a high percentage that it's more irritating than other alcohol containing products I've used (could maybe be the type of alcohol). I also found it interesting that the alcohol was so high when the glycerin was so low in the ingredient list, but that could be for perservative purposes since this brand avoids parabens. If you want a good vegan ceramide, I would try Pacifica's line or Ceramedx. I have had no issue with either one of those brands.

Pls check/read ingredients before u put anything on ur face. Because ppl have allergies. I tried this product because they don’t test on animals, & they don’t use ingredients that I’m allergic to. It’s fabulous. I like it.

I used this once and the smell is too horrible to get past. It smells like rotten food.

I love this it's just feels amazing like tall glass of ice water for your skin... Amazing!

I thought this moisturizer would be great especially with the ceramides. However, upon using this product, my face became tight, red and began to burn. I have never had this type of reaction to another Acure product before. I had to wash my face twice with a sulfate cleanser in order to stop the burning and my face stayed red for the rest of the night. If you have sensitive skin, SKIP THIS PRODUCT!
