Q: Does the back of the island have a finished look, or is it just thin cardboard?

Ordered the white one. Material (composite wood) was flimsy and split from the provided screws. Once this happened, the drawers did not stay squared and would shift. Very flimsy. Would not trust the drawer to be able to hold anything. Please make a better cabinet with better materials, and I might reconsider buying again.

The assembly was fairly straightforward. Give yourself time, read the instructions throughly, and have a bit of patience as there are multiple steps to the construction. The finished product is the perfect addition to our kitchen!

Terrible Instructions

Instruction manual poorly written. In almost every picture it shows the sliding mechanism for the drawers installed in a different direction with the wheel facing different directions.

I expected better

I had to take it apart a couple times because the directions were not very clear. A wood piece on the countertop was not alogned corrdu(see photo) and the inside cabinet shelves were not aligned properly (see photo). I did my best to tighten the screws and sometimes used an electric drill, but the screws couldn't go in any further. The cart is a little wobbly, but it's going to have to do for now. w didn't want the headache of taking everything apart and repacking it to wait in a long line.
