Almost great but......

Looks perfect in our new kitchen. Gray faux leather is not too light and not too dark. Firm cushioned seat is comfortable and the raised sides and back provide good support. Almost the perfect choice but for a couple of flaws that we have learnt to love with but may be important to others. 1. Difficult to assemble because of swivel base plate being spring loaded. It impossible for one person to assemble alone because one part of the base has to be twisted away from the other while trying to fix with screws at the same time!! 2. The swivel is spring loaded. If you twist and get off the seats returns to the set position. Not a free swivel seat at all. 3. The feet on the legs have zero grip. On a hardwood floor like mine they slide all over the place and scratch the floor. I had to buy some rubber grips that I cut to size for the feet and now they are fine. The stools are great once you get over these imperfections but if you want something that is perfect out the box then these may not be for you and they take a little extra effort to make them work perfect.
