I would purchase over and over again. I have never successfully plunged a toiled. This was the first time I had to plunge since Chatgpt and I learned I have been plunging wrong all this time. I would push the plunger down as hard as I could and then let up. This time I gentlely pressed down and up a few times and the toilet unclogged in like 10 seconds. I have a feeling the Clorox brand's quality helped also.

The plunger doesn't work AT ALL! The rubber is flimsy and doesn't even create the seal on the toilet to be able to actually plunge the clog. Because it doesn't seal, when you push it to try and unclog the toilet it just sprays and splashes water everywhere. DO NOT BUY THIS PLUNGER. Target should take them all out to dumpster and throw them away, that's all they're good for.

DO NOT BUY!! TAKE THIS OFF THE SHELVES TARGET. How was this the only plunger available at target and left right next to the toilet bowl cleaners?? This isn’t for toilets! It needs an extra flange and this one will not catch a seal. Waste of money and time. Do not buy, do not sell!

Haven’t used it yet but I realized you can’t transfer it from one bathroom to another without actually holding on to the base (which is gross once the plunger is used). If you hold it by the handle, the base opens up and gets left in place so you risk dripping toilet water as you move the plunger from one place to another.

Failure of a plunger

It fails at its one job... plunging. It does not create the necessary seal with the bowl, and pushes in on itself and doesn't pop back out, leaving you to have to reach in and pull it to reshape it. It splashes everywhere, which in the case of when you would need to use a plunger is absolutely worse-case scenario. The holder is nice, but not worth the price. Do not buy this one; I got way more use out of the cheap plunger I had prior. Only took one use of this to determine it was a dud.

Never in my life did I think I’d feel compelled to write a review on a plunger. It’s a very simple technology, yet as other reviewers have said this is not effective at all. It immediately inverts, making it impossible to plunge and also causing water to splash everywhere which is absolutely disgusting. For such a simple item you think it wouldn’t be hard to make on that works. Ignore all the promotional reviews

It doesnt plunge. You push it down and and it stays like that. It doesnt push back up like its supposed to to make the plunging motion. After every push in you have to push it back out which defeats the purpose

Waste of money… no suction. Had to pay plumber 200$ to unclog which took him 5 minutes.

Hi UCD mom, When applying the plunger to the drain and forming your initial seal, you want to fill the plunger chamber with liquid. Slide the plunger into the water at an angle to allow some of the water into the flange and bell of the plunger, removing as much of the ineffective, compressible air as possible. Then position the rest of the plunger over the toilet drain to complete the seal. The water inside of the plunger is what forces the clog to dislodge removing the obstruction. For larger clogs the precise up down movement is what breaks up the clog into smaller pieces, if the clog is due to toilet paper. For any other obstructions you may need to use a drain snake or call a plumber.
