Nice build. Smells like mold!

We really like the look of this and it’s totally solid….but after spending half a day building it, we have noticed that it smells like mold. Every time we come in the room when the door has been closed, it’s an overwhelming smell. It’s been a week now and no improvement. We are not sure what to do and if this is a health risk for our daughter.
