Q: Can you make drinks other than water? Like with diet mountain dew flavor?

submitted by malk - 1 year ago

  • A: Yes, that flavor additive is available from soda stream.

submitted byMj Horn - 5 months ago

  • A: Hi there! Our machines produce only sparkling water. Any flavor is to be added after carbonation.

Q: what's the difference between this and the e-terra model?

submitted by jas - 3 years ago

  • A: The E-Terra requires electricity and has a light, both of which limit the machine's use. And it is more expensive. The Terra works beautifly, doesn't require a plug-in or increase electrical use.

submitted byTeeJay - 2 years ago

  • A: Hi there! The E-Terra electric sparkling water maker, turns water into sparkling water in seconds with just one touch offering an automated and seamless experience. The three preset carbonation levels allow you to control your carbonation and make your beverage just the way you want it. While you carbonate, a blue light illuminates your water to let you know you it’s bubbling.

Q: Are existing bottles usable on the terra model the same as the Terra model

submitted by DAY - 2 months ago

  • A: Hi there - all bottles for our machines can be found here: https://sodastream.com/collections/bottles. We recommend visiting each one to see if they are compatible with the Terra model.

Q: How long or how many times do you need to press or hold the button?

submitted by Ryan - 3 months ago

  • A: Hi there! To carbonate, firmly push the carbonating button all the way down and hold the button for 1-2 seconds and release. Repeat 3 times for standard fizz and 5 times for strong fizz.

Q: If one person wants one flavor but another person wants another flavor, do you have to use separate bottles? Are any full bottles stored in the fridge and can make more than one drink in a glass?

submitted by Elizabeth - 3 months ago

  • A: Hi there! Our Terra machine model is designed to produce sparkling water. All flavoring is up to personal preference and is to be done after carbonation.

Q: I have three screw-type CO2 canisters for my old machine that broke. Can I exchange the old canisters for the newer quick-connect canisters or will I have to buy all new quick connect canisters?

submitted by Eric - 3 months ago

  • A: Hi there! Our Blue Screw-In CO2 cylinders, and our Pink Quick-Connect CO2 cylinders are compatible for exchange with one another. You can indeed exchange the older cylinders you have for a different cylinder type!

    My Grandson LOVES his Sodastream

I got the Sodastream as a birthday gift for my 11 yo grandson. I trained him on how to use it and now he is carbonating lemonade which he is so happy about. ! I have one too and it has saved me from using at least 2 or 3 store bought litres a week. What a great product!

    Very simple to use

I've used it around a dozen or so times now and it's been very easy to assemble and use, no batteries or anything that needed to be plugged in to the wall.

    Constant Spam Emails

I haven’t even had time to setup the soda stream and use it yet and I have already received more than 10 emails asking how I like it and to buy more components for the device. Super frustrating given the constant emails sent by soda stream.

    Love my Sodastream

I use my Sodastream to make drinks other than water, so I can get fluids without the salt and sugar. It is great for people who don't drink alcohol, have to limit salt/sugar, and it tastes wonderful with just the water and sugar free tonic water and lime, delicious

    Tough to connect

This is my second soda stream and I am wondering if this is a defective unit at this point. 1/2 the time I think I’ve got it connected and it makes a huge mess on my counter because of a false connection.

Versatile little machine just wish the seal was a little better

SodaStream Terra delivers high versatility in a small footprint. You're able to carbonate two different sizes of bottles based off how big of a drink you are making, and now that they are owned by PepsiCo, you are able to use your flavors you know and love. They made it even easier now with these new bottles—they have two little lines on them: one where you fill it with water and the second one is where you pour it with syrup. It's not a science experiment no more, where you have to pour it in a cap and then pour it into the thing and then roll it around as much. It's a lot more simpler now, where you just have to fill it to that line and put the lid on. I normally flip it up and down, and that's more than enough to mix all the flavor around. I like that I don't have to have another appliance plugged into the wall—it's cable free. I can store this in the basement or the garage and don't have to give up more counter space. I do, however, feel like the seal is not the best; it could be worked on a little more. It does carbonate it, but I personally use about seven pushes, and they recommend about three. That's what works for my machine, and that's what gives me that classic soda feel. Due to the seal, that's the only reason it's getting a 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the greatest purchase I have ever made, you don’t even need the flavor stuff. The water is good as is. Definitely go to the website and set up a CO2 subscription, as you’ll likely use it so much you’ll run out, but it’s amazing.

    Love this product

I have been using this seltzer dispenser for about a week. After I figured out the nuances, it works beautifully. I’m hoping for a long life together. No more carrying heavy bottles of seltzer water up the stairs.

    Not the fizz I expected

I’ve tried everything and all I get is very minimal tiny little bubbles and a little bit of a soda taste. I was expecting the kind of fizz I get from opening a can of carbonated water.

    Good product and results

Easy to use device, happy with the quality of the CO2 carbonation and also with fulfillment packages. My only dissatisfaction was with Shopify somehow middle-manning the order. They're out of the picture now and I look forward to continued use of the unit.

    Ripped off by Target!

The CO2 cylinder that came with this purchase had expired. No Co2 was coming out from the cilinder so no bubbly drinks. The cylinder didnt have the protective seal that aaparently comes with all these cylinders when brand new. As this was my first time with this product I didnt know that seal was missing and I proceeded to instal it as it was. Big big surprise when my drink was flat! No bubbles! and a big sense of being ripped off by Target!
